Welcome To Wyoming
Things available from Steve Murphy:
Asterisk Telephony:
telemarket_torture.ael
telemarket_torture.ael2
TeleTorturePrompts.tar.gz
-- a set of prompts and dialplan to torture telemarketers with.
-- A good example of bad, horrid, humorous dialplan design.
WhoIsIt-1.1.tar.gz
-- a set of files to allow incoming calls to be announced over
-- the speakers of the asterisk (linux) system.
Translation:
makestats-1.1.tar.gz
-- a utility to show via bar charts, the progress of a translation and the
statistics, of a set of .po files. It generates HTML. Also generates a .mbox
file format file with the same contents, but includes the bar graph image files in
mime multipart format. You can forward this to other people. Also generates a
csv format file with the data. The PO files can be scattered over a directory
tree. Clicking on the links in the HTML will show the contents of the file.
gettext-0.14.2-fuzzyupgrade.patch4.gz
gettext-0.14.5-fuzzyupdate.patch4.gz
gettext-0.14.5-fuzzyupdate.patch5.gz
gettext-0.14.5-patch6.gz
-- a set of modifications to the gettext utility msgmerge to give it the ability
to replace a fuzzy translations with complete ones, four new fuzzy matching
algorithms, the ability to do entire directory trees of POT and PO files with
a single command. If you have big compendia, or are puzzled by msgmerge's behavior,
take this patch and apply it to gettext-0.14.2. Or the 14.5 version.
The patch5 version fixes crashes and attacks memory leaks.
The patch6 version has some fuzzy algorithm updates, adds fuzz-alg-X flags to comments,
where X is the algorithm number that added the fuzzy message, msgattrib can filter based on
fuzzy algorithm number, msgmerge's --no-fuzzy-matching turns off all fuzzy algorithms, and
the new --no-fuzzy1-matching will turn off the fuzzy1 algorithm.

Web Server Mailbot Protection:
ScrambleHTMLMailtos-1.2.tar.gz
ScrambleHTMLMailtos-1.3.tar.gz
-- a program to hide mailto-type email references from spambots. Uses the
javascript method from AddressScrambler, but with a few new twists.
Will do whole filesets at once. Keep the spambots away from the mailto's in
your site's pages. While the spambots won't understand what's going on,
users with IE or Mozilla browsers won't be able to tell the difference.
Here is a demonstration:
Notice any difference? This address is scrambled!
Note to the owners of Disobedient Webbots, Crawlers, and Spambots:
Since Dec. 2002,
If your bot doesn't obey the robots.txt directives to keep away from this
site, then you pay the price. Measured on 21 May 2005, this site has fed (with
a firehose!) over 3 Gigabytes of garbage and nonsense to gullible bots.
I have hidden links in parsetree.com's main page, which humans cannot
follow. The links point to 3 scripts at this site, perl scripts available
over the internet, which I've modified for use here:
-- This: a script to generate email addresses belonging to the site
-- from which the query originated.
-- Inf: a script to generate fake email addresses. Tons of them. Generated pages contain links to more generated pages!
-- Shov: generates binary garbage permeated with tons of mailto: half references.
-- It's meant to be a real test for any software that tries to
-- parse it.
Here's the stats:

Humorous Note:
In the above, 64.242.88.10 resolves to sv-crawl.looksmart.com.
Which makes looksmart.com not look so smart! It keeps coming back for more.
And more. And more! It just loves my garbage!
